Grrrr ... I feel victimised. My car got those scratch marks just becoz' a driver didn't measure up with their own judgement to double park a narrow lane which hardly can fit two cars. My bigger and longer car get bullied around for nothing. I guess it makes sense now that the bigger you are, the bigger you fall ... duh ..

Spent literally the whole 1st day hari raya @ parents in law's place. This year seems a lil' bit subdued the only things that made the nite slightly different was the fireworks. I was trying hard this year not to spend any on the fireworks (tall order) but finally succumbed to the relentless chants from thin air he.ehe.. There goes my easy money to fatten the vendors' coffers. But the kids enjoyed it a lot ... lol ... selamat hari raya aidilfitri to all muslims .. maaf zahir dan batin and pls drive safely ..

Demise of An Uncle

Today we lost one great .. great uncle. Very soft spoken, quiet, lived a very simple life, who avoided nonsensical discussions and very exemplary character who finally left us in his early 80's. I'm sure we'll reminisce those fond memories and glimpses of the past ... may God bless him ... Amin .. al Fatihah ... Hj Abdullah Hj Ismail ....

A week thru' Ramadan and noticeably things have slowed down a lot. A good break for now tho' slightly tired and going back home after work all the way from KB is nightmarish sometime hehe.. very sleepy ... Notably my blog updates at best will be erratic but I just want to get goin', hence another pointless post. Pretty short of ideas but what to do, nothing much expected over these few weeks to come anyway.

Farewell Sending Off for Lil' Bro'

Tonite farewell sending off for our youngest member was mixed feelings for all. Well perhaps he's the last one to go, hence, somehow it's entirely a different scenario altogether. We all wish him good luck and the best in his studies and I'm sure he'll cope with the sudden cultural change and be back with flying colours.

If I can remember clearly the last family member to go was at one time flying back to Scotland 2 days after the infamous 911 saga happened. We're dead worried back then knowing that he's travelling from Heathrow airport and back to Glasgow alone. That's the past and time is flying fast these days so naturally you won't feel the pace by the time it's a done thing. I guess we worry too much sometime ....

The fact that there were only four of us, didn't deter us to continue with the plan. Unfortunately the following sunday is the Rafting Klassik, so we can't muster the numbers or critical mass so to speak. Apart from one member who suffered dehydration, else it was another worthwhile appointment with the beauty of mother nature. You got to experience it first so describing them in words is no justice. I've just won an eBay bid for a GPS navigator, so we might be planning to day trek some of the places we've not frequented. We've lots and lots of things in mind ...

Must be one of those rare weekends well spent. Giggles, another giggles and another .. well it was very contagious. Bowling, kayak race, raft race, treasure hunting and the finishing touch .. beach volleyball under the hot sun. I'm sure everyone gone home very very happy :).

Was going thru' our leaflet w.r.t. Stress Management. Interesting finding tho' .... "stress is not a weakness and you don't have to suffer" ... and the final straw ... "work-related stress is a sympton of an organisational problem, not individual weakness". Enuff said and in fact I feel reeeaaaaalllll good reading those quotes. Nite Camp Out @ Batu Apoi, Temburong

The impromptu plan kicked off well than expected last weekend and it started as early as 7 am picking up the boys along the way.

We're @ Kuala Lurah check point by 9 am, travelled thru' Limbang, had brunch @ Bangar, Temburong before midday, proceeded to Selapon, Batu Apoi, trekked thru' at least 1 and 1/2 hour and reached our camping spot by 2 pm. We kind of missed the 2nd river crossing but later decided to chose our sweet "spot" by moving upstream although it was supposed to take at least 1 hour had we not missed it.

Nice place, clean and almost clear water stream but most of us end up with lil' sleep becoz' of fren's heavy snoring .. hu..huu.. But I was slightly put off with the humidity tho' and was perspiring even till late nite despite having cold evening splash.

Packed and left before midday the next morning, took lunch, dropped by @ the long house (1st ever experience) before heading to Limbang and back to Brunei. Slightly held up at least an hour @ the Pendaruan ferry crossing and another hour @ the Tedungan immigration. By the time I'm home it was already close to 9 pm and .. oh yes.. darn .. I'm working the next day. Energy level was very low but worthwhile experience .. thinking of doing another one .. lets see ... maybe Labi ...

Somebody was pushing this idea ... well to camp overnight at Batu Apoi, Temburong. I'm an avid jungle trekker but never get the chance to experience it. Next weekend and that's it .. pretty short notice tho', so have to rush a bit getting the basic stuffs. We'll start with smaller group first, so if it goes well perhaps we might be selling the idea and get bigger crowds next time.

Harap maklumkan saya hari tidak dapat menghadirkan diri ini ke dalam kelas cikgu kerana saya mendapati saya dihinggapi penyakit. Aku sudah betemu dengan deresa pagi ini tetapi sungguh menyedihkan aku disahkan tiada berpenyakit. Bapa saya telah membawa saya berjumpa manang, dan mengesahkan saya kena pansa utai. Bersama dengan ini saya sertakan laporan manang berkenaan (Manang Nyawing), dan imbasan dari batu ilau manang berkenaan.
Minta tolong cikgu untuk menghebahkan perkara ini kepada guru besai dan cikgu disiplin.
