Today's Word Is "Shadowing" ... Thursday, May 31, 2007

Don't be mistaken and it's nothing to do with any top secret operations you've in mind ... Simply put I'm to "shadow" one of my senior colleague, in layman term .. learning his job ..he.he.. Leave me no choice but my boss is pushing the idea to me becoz' this guy is possibly fed up with his job, hence decided to work somewhere else or rather be cross posted. In the end I've to attend many meetings and travelling to and fro my head office is troublesome. But the positives are that you get to see more bosses, get to see the corporate picture more clearer, maybe getting myself more "visible" ..duh.. That's life .. want to climb the career ladder fast, then such thing is no longer optional ... nevermind .. work harder .. more money ... more debts ... more problems ... huwa huwa...

My Legs Are Tired ...

I was sort of being heavily involved with the OS Game for the last 3 weeks or so.. and glad that I'm now past it with the assurance that I'm still in one piece. There's a tingling sensation in my ankle and the last thing I would want to happen is being injured and that could be a real disaster. I've a business trip just around the corner and today being a public holiday is a very welcoming and timely break. Darn .... I haven't packed anything yet !!

Well this time I think it's not the usual screening that we used to see from the previous ones. Very creative, actions packed, amusing, very diferent and mother of all pirates movies he.he.. but it's really worth it. Maybe it's just too lengthy that my lil' daughter dozes off toward the last quarter but I bet it's not her kind of movie any way .... aye aye .. full canvas ...

This is not a nature call for a blog review folks .. he..ehe. Why I decided to single out this particular blog is for certain reasons. Well she's from Lumut area which I've stayed for almost 13 memorable years since moving out from Belait district. Coincidentally her hubby is someone I knew well in our office environment which I only get to know when stumbling across at some of the pixs. Interesting finding huh ..

So this blog at best reminds me of my ol' days at Lumut, hence my show of utter appreciation of it's existence.

Heavy Rain Last Nite .... Saturday, May 19, 2007

Well last nite it rained real real heavy and we're almost ... I meant almost caught with a flooding livin' room. That was a real close call really .. otherwise the whole carpetings would be in ruin. That could be potentially a 3rd changeout if we weren't that lucky. So 10% damage is still a lot better considering the aftermath last nite and luckily the rain stopped at the rite moment ... so much with an episode of a wet wet traumatic experience .he.he.. come to think of it, I guess there were others who weren't lucky enuff ...

Lengthy Pause ... So Little To Blog Monday, May 07, 2007

That was almost 3 weeks without anything to post my dear ... too bad. Let me start reflecting on those longer than usual pause. OK ... I was just moving house, settling down a lot longer than usual, long drive back and forth office/home (damned tired), busy with my offshore assignment, losing my daily momentum (ouch), reminiscing my ol' KB days (ssheezz), making excuses, thinking of another excuses, fine tuning those excuses ...bla..bla..bla.... excuse me !!!

Stressed Out .. then read this.. he.he.

One day, siew pau and maggi mee had a big fight. Maggi mee beat siew pau up until it had bruises on its pau body.

Siew Pau lost in the fight and went back to tell all the paus family; kaya pau, tau SA pau, curry pau, and etc.

So together?.. all paus went to find maggi mee for revenge. On the way... they met Spaghetti?... so all pau ran to Spaghetti and BEAT the hell up on Spaghetti that Spaghetti can't say a word.

Spaghetti then scream ... "WHAT DID I DO? I don't even know you all"???
Then the Siew Pau say ??.. "HEH! MAGGI MEE! Don't think I can't recognize you after you do REBONDING!"
